Memorial Day 2025 – A day off that many spend with family, and friends cooking out and having a campfire. However, Memorial Day is meant to be far more than hotdogs, friends, and fun. Memorial Day is a somber reminder of those who made the ultimate sacrifice, giving all, for us to live as we do.
Every year in Twinsburg, the VFW Post 4929, in conjunction with the Twinsburg Rotary and City host a Memorial Day Parade and Service. This year was extra special as the parade kicked off with a C130 flyover. After the parade concluded, crowds gathered on Church Street where the service began. It was a very moving ceremony, and with the new location on Church Street I felt we all were able to more closely gather and appreciate the event for what it was.
